Martha + Jordan’s Romantic Snowy Colorado Engagement Session
To be completely honest, we didn’t expect any snow to be present because it hadn’t snowed in a few days but we were pleasantly surprised upon arriving. Don’t get me wrong, we were absolutely freezing cold, but so so excited for the beautiful photos we knew would be the result.
Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado
Martha grew up near Boulder, but now lives out of state so when she inquired, she knew she wanted the location to encompass her growing-up. Chautauqua Park was the perfect pick. It’s one of my favorite locations, just northwest of Denver.
Just a fair warning if you are considering Chautauqua Park as your photoshoot location: it is a veryyyyy busy spot (no exaggeration) amongst locals looking for a nice outdoor walk/jog and tourists.
During busy seasons like spring, summer or fall be sure to arrive early as parking is very limited. Chances are you might have to park farther away from the park and walk so planning ahead is crucial.
