Wintertime in Colorado encourages me to think outside of the box for my clients. Not everyone wants to brave the freezing cold temps and winds in the mountains. I was sooo so so excited that Morgan and Bryan were down for a unique location. This was my first time shooting at this particular location in downtown and needless to say, I’m in love! It was the perfect backdrop for the modern romantic portraiture they dreamed of!
How to Style Your Outfits for the Ultimate Romantic Elegant Vibe
My number one resource recommendation for outfit inspiration is Pinterest! In giving styling advice to Morgan + Bryan I immediately started saving pins that represented the soft, romantic + elegant vibes they wanted to display. After making an inspiration board there were a few factors we were drawn to:
Morgan found the most beautiful modern backless engagement dress on Old Sport. To really emphasize the elegant romantic vibes we wanted to incorporate something different that really made a statement. Enter the most beautiful (not to mention affordable) white lace gloves from Amazon.
To not draw attention from two main components of Morgan’s outfits (dress + pearl gloves) we opted for a simplistic pearl drop earring from Amazon. To tie it all together she DIYd probably the freakin’ cutest feather bridal shoes. Talk about Elle Woods meets bridal, am I right?! ALL the heart eye emojis!!!! She simply glued small pieces of a feather boa to a white pair of heels. There’s a ton of options for this style of heel, but if you’re crafty like Morgan why not DIY them with a glass of wine! 😉
