Jen + Dontae’s Modern Studio Maternity Photoshoot in Denver, Colorado
When Jen inquired with me she knew exactly what she wanted her maternity photoshoot to entail: a very casual, laidback and lived-in look. I’m so honored that she chose me to bring her vision to life!
Location + Styling
Choosing the right location AND outfits is absolutely crucial in order to obtain the look you want.
Studio One in Highlands Ranch is my favorite photography studio rental for those who are a wanting a very simplistic and clean backdrop. It’s easily becoming a favorite amongst my clients who book studio maternity photoshoots!
For her first outfit Jen opted for a very classic look featuring a cozy pair of mom jeans and a white button down top. I absolutely love when mom’s bring this outfit to their maternity photos to show off their bump. You can either go braless or add a cute Calvin Klein bralette. Jen’s second outfit really played into the modern look featuring a oversized monochromatic black blazer set. Jen’s hubby complimented her outfits by opting for similar wash for their jeans look and black denim for their second look.
